This is the health portion only of the Health/PE credit required for high school. This half-credit course is designed to enable students to build a foundation of knowledge and understanding on how to make healthy decisions throughout their lifetime. Students will learn important health issues, how to take care of their body, benefits of physical activity, types of physical activities, self-management skills, making smart food choices, healthy lifestyles, stress management, how to create a personal program and more. Basically, how to be fit for life!
